Baghdad, 2006 — one of the city’s most dangerous streets. On his way to propose to his beloved Suad, Ahmed is shot and pinned down in the open by Salam, a young sniper living his own private hell on a rooftop above. As Suad fights to reach him and a neighbour, Dalal, is drawn in, an entire block holds its breath under the shadow of the occupation.
